QA Analyst III
Description
QA Analyst III will review and analyze business, functional and technical specification documents to develop test scenarios and test cases for a medium to large complexity project. He or she will also be responsible for test case execution, identifying and reporting defects/issues. This position requires working with Test Lead to support testing objectives and report daily execution status. This position also requires supporting Test Lead in coordinating among IT, business and project teams.
Required Skills/Experience
· At least 5 years of experience working with SQL, Sybase, Oracle
· At least 3-5 years of working knowledge of Care Advance Application and all related functionalities
· At least 3-5 years of working knowledge of Care Advance Provider Application
· At least 5 years of working knowledge of EDI 278-11 file format
· At least 3-5 years of working knowledge of Facets
Top Three Skills/Experience
· Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience working in similar roles
· Minimum of 3 years of experience working on US Healthcare projects
· Good domain knowledge of US Healthcare System
Required Skills/Experience
· Experience in testing SOAP/Rest Services
· Should be willing to work independently with little to zero handholding
· Experience and ability to support Test Lead in test planning and coordination of test activities
· Experience in reviewing the results/providing demo to business users
· Experience in taking ownership of subtasks and delivering it on-time
· Experience in supporting Test Lead in updating RTM, reporting execution status, etc.
· Good communication skills
· Good understanding of SDLC
· Good understanding of testing processes and methodology
· Log test results/defects and perform test results analysis
· Good understanding of data analysis and issue analysis
· Experience in following through the defect management cycle
· Experience in writing and executing SQL queries
· Flexible and dynamic – quickly adapt to changing needs of the business
Preferred Skills/Experience
· Minimum of 1 year of experience working on Agile projects
· Prior experience leading testing for small projects
· Experience in leading very small teams (1-3 resources)
Certification
· ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent certification will be an added bonus
Educational Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in a related field will be an added bonus
