Strong concepts and experience in Agile software development methodologies
Own the deliverables from a technical standpoint and be able to communicate project details and updates to non-technical leaders
Solid interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work as a productive member of a fast-paced, tight-knit team
Strong documentation skills - All requirements documented in Jira, code stored in Github, meetings documented in project Wiki
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Software Development Skills
10+ years experience in IT industry with at least 1 year in providing technical solutions.
3+ years in Python software development on Linux platforms
Experience in building applications such as Bottle, Tornado or Flask
Prior hands-on experience in managing applications built on Ruby, Scala and Java
NoSQL database experience on a platform such as MongoDB or any NOSQL DB
Successful prior implementations of performant, large-scale applications utilizing REST APIs
Ensure effective Configuration Management using Ansible (or Puppet, Chef)
DevOps Skills
Experience with container deployments (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
Demonstrated experience managing the operational sustainment and support of production systems
Linux server administration
Familiar with multiple Application deployment strategies
Change management (Release, rollback)
Monitoring and Alert response (both automated and manual) and escalation management.
