Python Developer ( 7 Positions )

Location : San Jose, CA

Experience Required : 3 years to 6 years

Interim Interview ( Web ex) : 1 round of interview ( 15 to 20 minutes )
Second round of interview ( Webex) : Python code testing - 45 minutes
Third round of interview ( Webex) : 15 minute with clients
Mandatory : He or she has to pass the coding tests .

Please present candidates who can pass the Python coding tests on a scale of
1 to 5 if the candidate says 4 with respect to Python programming skills
then only send across .

Client is building next generation cloud. Next Generation Cloud Services
team is made up of very talented engineers who are passionate about building

latest technologies and tools and in the process accelerate their learning
and personal growth.

You will:

Develop an automated DMZ solution to be consumed by our customers on our
Openstack cloud environment.
Integrate client and 3rd party DMZ solutions with Openstack modifying code
where needed
Work with customers, InfoSec, and Networking team to build a DMZ solution
that meets all policies and requirements
Maintain the lifecycle of the application. Patching, escalations, and
adding new features
Setup monitoring and alerting for the DMZ solution.
Develop code using client''s SDLC infrastructure and policies
Desired Skills
Development expertise with Python
Experience with automation/configuration management using tools like
Ansible, Puppet, Chef or an equivalent.
Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud
services (experience with Openstack is highly desirable
API programming
Experience with CI/CD systems like Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins.
Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up,
always-available service
Knowledge of Firewalls and access control lists(ACL)
Knowledge of Web Application Firewalls(WAF)
Minimum Qualifications
BS/MS in computer science or related field is preferred.
Familiar with Agile methodologies
Ability to work with and influence software development teams
Solid experience with Openstack, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or VMware
Solid Linux experience ( eg : Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS
Programming experience in Python and automation tools (e.g. Ansible or
Puppet)
Basic knowledge of Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls(WAF), and Load
Balancers
Understanding of protocols/technologies like HTTP, SSL, LDAP, JDBC,
Servlet/JSP, SQL, HTML, XML
