Job Title- Python Developer
Location- New York City, NY
Contract-6-12+Months

Medium to strong skill : Knowledge of databases
Must be interested in developing skills in setting up web services layer : how the web server serves out different types of request, setting up proxies, achieving persistence, selecting the appropriate serving engine, SSL protocols
must be interested in working with Apache/ NGINX etc webservers
Work with one of : Apache / Nginx / Tomcat / IIS would be a plus ( but not essential ) - for instance configuring webserver
- Knowledge of complex querying or writing Stored procedures is not needed but candidate must demonstrate a good understanding of databases : for instance knowledge of how transactions are used to ensure data consistency.
must be interested in learning and applying more complex db skills such as writing SPs and working with SSIS packages. he/she will need to work on projects that might need these tools/skills.
Must be interested in working on projects that need database design and some level of administration.
- Be able to critically compare solutions for data processing
- NoSQL : Must be interested in exploring and working with NoSQL databases – these will require the ability to work queries in code rather than in SQL.
Knowledge of Web services /servers
Experience level : 3-5 years.
Other indicators
- Experience with building ORMs : such as using DBIX in Perl / Mongoose in Node JS / Hibernate in Java
Experience with Cloud computing - AWS / Azure / Google Cloud - a plus
Knowledge of containers ( Docker, Kubernetes etc ) a plus.
Implementation of applications on docker a big plus.
