Job Description:
Qualified candidates will have:
- BSc or higher in Computer Science and/or related disciplines.
- Proven proficiency in either object oriented languages or functional languages. E.g. Python, Scala, Go, Java, C++, etc. With preference given to Python.
- Proven Microservice experience.
- Proven proficiency with a Python based web framework. E.g. Django, Flask.
- Experience with NoSQL Databases. E.g. Cassandra, MongoDB.
- Experience with SQL Databases.
- Strong experience in the day to day use and troubleshooting of Linux based operating systems such as RHEL, CentOS or Ubuntu.
- Experience with Agile Development and Test Driven Development. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Highly Desirable Skills - Knowledge of Cloud providers such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure - Experience with low-level networking and infrastructure constructs.
