Python Developer
Scripting / Programming Language: Python 3+
Responsibilities
Develop and deploy python scripts that call SOAP, REST Web Services
Develop and deploy python scripts to use web scraping frameworks like BeautifulSoup (to clean HTML formatting in email plain texts)
Modify python scripts to be runnable from command line
Write and manage scripts for backend or system-level operations using Python
Assists in the collection and documentation of solution design requirements
Builds and test automation processes including unit and integration testing
Participates in peer review of solution designs
Supports business process owners during user acceptance testing
Identifies and communicates risks associated with automation development
Supports investigation and remediation of testing and production level issues
Supports production deployments processes and performance testing
Provides input in lessons learned for the program
Train and handover scripts to the process SMEs and OPS support group
Desired Profile/Skills
Knowledge of business process modeling and reengineering
Awareness of standard SDLC processes (e.g., agile, etc and change control disciplines
Ability to blend business analysis with technical skillset to develop efficient processes
Possesses good communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience
Preferred:
4-6 years of industry and development experience
Experience developing and testing software
2 year of programming experience in any scripting language
Python 3.0+
