Description:
Must Have Skills
- Sound knowledge on Python scripting including knowledge of Python libraries like NumPy, SQL Alchemy etc.
- Experience writing complex SQLs and Scripts to analyze historical data for exploratory Analysis
- Good knowledge of integration with mpp databases, working Experience on either Teradata, Greenplum or Netezza
- knowledge of Pandas library for statistics Analysis and Using NumPy for Numerical Analysis and managing large datasets Using Panda data frames and MySQL
Nice to Have Skills (3)
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python
- Knowledge on Supply Chain domain
Role Responsibilities
- Elicit requirements for functional or business users and translate the same to functional or technical specifications
- Understand source systems and system integration from data lineage perspective
- Design data flow using Python scripting leveraging libraries as needed – Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn etc. Also, integrating with underlying data store on mpp database
- Develop and test scripts for exploratory analysis feeding data into data marts. Support data integration to visualization layer
- Support UA testing of historical data analysis; fix and test bugs as required
- Deploy code to production and provide post production support as needed
