Role: Sr. Python Developer
Duration: 12 Months with open extension
Location: Fremont, CA.
Description:-
- Our Client is seeking a highly talented and versatile Sr. Software Engineer with a strong understanding of service oriented architectures(SOA), object oriented programming(OOP) and SaaS systems.
- The candidate will develop new features (and improve upon old ones) on a cloud based infrastructure using modern development stacks in an agile work culture.
- The candidate will work on some of the most interesting projects in the industry, with the big picture goal of replacing fossil fuel energy.
- The candidate''s work will accelerate the adoption of clean energy, and improve the lives of thousands of users.
- The candidate will get to work with a small, fast-paced and dedicated software team to design and develop cutting edge products.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and deploy financial services solutions to internal finance, customer care teams as well as end-customers.
- Work with multiple business stakeholders to develop solutions against roadmap.
- Work on building technical design, integration design and solution options.
- Work closely with business teams to understand business requirements and desired functionality.
- Partner with internal engineering teams, third party vendors to develop consistent solutions.
- Drive other projects as required or as business needs change.
Qualifications:-
- Minimum five(5) years of enterprise software engineering experience required.
- Experience with finance and financial systems is a MUST.
- Python and Django experience is highly mandatory
- Web/mobile development experience HTML, JavaScript, CSS required
- Must have experience integrating with multiple internal and external systems
- Knowledge of SOA/REST based service development.
- Experience developing and deploying microservice-based applications (Kubernetes, Docker, etc )
- Experience with Mulesoft is required.
- Strong knowledge of databases and data models.
- Experience developing in an Agile workflow.
- Knowledge of and experience working with standard MVC frameworks.
- Must have proficiency developing cloud-deployed software (AWS, etc
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Must demonstrate a team-based orientation.
- Ability to work in an aggressive, fast paced environment managing multiple priorities.
- Passion to learn new technologies and develop new solutions.
- Evidence of exceptional ability.
Educational Qualifications:-
- B.S. in computer science or related major required or equivalent experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
