Job Description:
· At least 8-10 years of experience with:
· Expert in Python
· Expert level of at least one Python web framework such as Django, Pyramid, Flask. Django preferred
· Strong understanding of Architectural Design Patterns
· Repeated experience building secure, reliable, scalable platforms
· Likes to drive quality throughout the development life-cycle including unit testing and debugging
· Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (git)
· Ability work in a distributed team
· Agile methodologies
· Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture
· Good understanding of server-side templating and form generation
· Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
· Understanding of accessibility and security compliance: Such as PCI and HIPAA
· Knowledge and experience integrating and contributing to open source projects and frameworks
· Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python
