Required Skillset:
A. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY.
A1. Project purpose:* Propulsion Engineering is responsible for the design of Alternators, Traction Motors, Fans, and Blowers. This position is for a strong Mechanical Engineering talent to support in Life Cycle Cost (LCC) productivity, Reliability of our products (including teardowns at North American repair shops), and Manufacturing support.
A2. CTQ business requirements: Integrity pursuant to GE Policy, Agreement of project milestones within 2 weeks from time a project is given, and adherence to that timeline.
B. SERVICES.
Services to be performed:* Supplier shall provide the following 3 Services
B1:* Leading LCC projects. Engineer must be technically competent and capable of running a project with minor support from rest of Propulsion Engineering team. It is assumed that Propulsion Engineering team will support for the product background
B2:* Reliability; Lead reliability and/or UX Infancy project. Provide potential solutions with design tradeoffs for any project. Hold design review with cross functional GE team to gain approval of the potential solutions and the final down selected concept. May need to travel to shop and understand issue then develop a potential solution.
B3:* Support manufacturing efforts. Support manufacturing in any way needed. The engineer must be able to understand the issue and convey to team leader and PE the problem as well as understand the technical details regarding the solution.
C. DELIVERABLES.
Deliverables to be provided:* Supplier shall provide the following Deliverable
C1:* Engineer will be provided with different projects during assignment. The engineer and customer will agree on project timeline and that timeline has to be held.
