7 + years total experience in Program/Project Management Area
Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering.
Ability to resolve complex problems positively and professionally
Ability to establish plans, monitor and report on program status, budgets, schedules, etc.
Must be able to clearly and regularly communicate status, issues and risks to stakeholders
Solid ability to identify, develop and quantify any required corrective action plans
This position requires the ability to work accurately under time pressures; and ability to work independently with minimal supervision in an environment with frequently changing business needs
Exercises considerable judgment in developing methods, techniques & evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Solid track record of achieving or exceeding targeted results
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Advanced proficiency in creating presentation materials for executive review using Jira or Confluence
Strong analytical and leadership skills
Advanced proficiency with Atlassian tools (Scrum Boards, Dashboards, etc): Jira, Confluence, Stash, etc
Job Responsibilities:
Serve as scrum master for a smart home mobile app product of a Fortune 500 company
Help build relationships with cross functional engineering team, help manage expectations and scope
Manage the release plan and feature prioritization with the product team
Conduct daily stand-ups for teams located in the US East Coast as well as off-shore (India)
Communicate and document project status and strategic recommendations to team members and senior management on a regular basis; escalate issues accordingly via the appropriate channels
Conduct project postmortems and proactively identify opportunities for improvement to all process and tools used in the execution of project activities
Effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize all resources working across project(s) based on scope of work and project goals.
Actively monitor project risks and scope creep to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address them in advance
Desired Skills:
Previous experience working with new technology or launching new products in consumer and enterprise markets
Experience working with the following technologies and specs: LTE-3GPP, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy, ZigBee/Zwave, React Native, NodeJS
Knowledge of web services and APIs
Experienced in agile product and code development methodologies
Experienced in project management tools and applications
Experience with Atlassian software tool suite, including Confluence, JIRA, JIRA/Agile
Experience with Agile development
