Job Description:

Overall, responsible for the successful planning and execution of small acquisition projects such as mortgages, and will be coming up with methodologies and processes for these small acquisitions


Organizes and controls the activities of the teams.
Uses Microsoft Project and CA PPM to plan, sequence and schedule activities.
Ensures completion of schedules.
Coordinates activities with other managers. Identifies action items, decisions, risks and issues.
Monitors project plans; coordinate major project activities.
Keeps abreast of activities outside the team that may impact the team or client environment.
Monitors financial plan to budget.
Completes status reports and must be able to present projects, status or activities to management.
Demonstrates a strong understanding of the business environment and needs within the area of responsibility.
Ability to understand technical, business and operational impacts of a project or issue.

Required Skills

Seeking minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a project management and a systems development environment
Experience on system enhancements, conversions and production problem resolution
Ability to effectively use project management, word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Excellent problem-solving skills to assist in issue resolution.
Requires a complete understanding of the system development life cycle (SDLC)
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present to the target audience.
Excellent analytical, organization, project, and time management skills, strong judgement, and management skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients and IT management and staff personnel.

Preferred Skills

Ideally a Bachelor’s degree, but not a hard requirement
Ideally experience in a banking/financial services and/or mortgage environment
