Job Description:
In this key role, you will leverage your practical Agile/Scrum experience, and theoretical training to support our IT professionals in further developing their Agile/Scrum practices and knowledge base. We are looking for a continuous learner with recent Agile training, who has a highly collaborative servant leader style approach, to engage and inspire the team.
Essential Responsibilities:
· Design and deliver transformational Agile training to teams, Scrum Masters, product owners, functional managers, and executives
· Deliver hands-on coaching for individual teams on all aspects of Scrum and Kanban (roles and responsibilities, daily meetings, planning at different levels, self-organization, collaboration, iterative development, metrics which aid continuous improvement, managing flow, WIP limits, etc
· Coach development teams on project initiation, organization, goal and change management aspects of Agile
· Develop Agile training materials, and deliver Agile training sessions, workshops, and one-on-one coaching for Business and IT participants
· Assess application product teams against Agile best practices and provide recommendations to senior leadership.
· Develop, track, and communicate Agile adoption and progress metrics at team as well as organizational level; analyze metrics and progress to make recommendations to mediate risks
· Partner with all levels of management to ensure organizational alignment with Agile frameworks
· Discover opportunities to champion Agile values, principles and adoption across the organization
· Welcome servant leadership and demonstrate behaviors in line with Lean principles
· Encourage and develop self-sustainable communities of practice
Requirements:
· Bachelors degree required, Masters preferred.
· Minimum ten years of experience using Agile frameworks and two+ years coaching Agile project teams.
· Experience successfully transforming teams and organizations from traditional, ad hoc methods to Agile frameworks.
· Five+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or product owner .
· 15 years of relevant IT experience; at least eight years in a technical software development environment, or with IT Project Management
· Documented recent (last two years) Agile training/conference/user group attendance, with on-going involvement in the Agile community and continuous improvement and growth
· Certified PMP, Scrum Master and Product Owner
