Job Description :
Experience: Project Manager ( 5+ years) ; Senior Project Manager ( 10 + years)
PMP Certification is highly preferred
The State Department requires project management services for the multiple projects for Dispatch Enhanced Environment Program (DEEP The PM and Sr. PM must work as a team, be knowledgeable about CAD and mobile, be familiar with the Department’s business operations and practices, and have knowledge and experience in preparing CA-PMF and PAL documentation, BCRS and BCPs, status reports, SPRs, etc. The PM and Sr. PM must be able to handle a multitude of daily activities in a fast-paced project environment and provide problem resolution and recommendations for project success.
Key Job Role
Assist the DEEP PM consultant facilitate sessions to track/monitor training and deployment activities
Lead sessions with the vendor to trace department business requirements, including configurations
Analyze testing results and provide direction for handling deficiencies at the project level
Lead risk management sessions addressing risk probability, impact, and mitigation, as required
Provide PM assistance for project status reports
Lead and facilitate change management sessions
Provide leadership and ongoing PM support with focus on IT security, until project completion
Assist the Department PM in utilizing the best PM practices for project initiation
Provide lead PM services, business analyst support, support, and/or funding analysis, as required
Prepare PAL documentation, as required
Prepare BCRs and BCPs, as required
Prepare transmittal for project approval to state control agencies and CDT, as required
Provide PM templates and prepare meeting minutes and status reports, as necessary
Schedule risk management meetings, and prepare risk registers including probability, impact, and mitigation, as necessary
Prepare project management plans, as required
