Opportunity for Project Manager - Release Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsible for implementing and managing release processes for code through development, test, and production environments
Own the Release Management lifecycle which includes scheduling, coordinating and the management of releases across the enterprise for multiple applications
Comprehend business requirements, then design solution and interfaces to drive the implementation of white label ecommerce platform
Assisting stakeholders (developers, business owners, etc in driving issues to completion and resolving technical implementation issues.
Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations
Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews
Detailed understanding of ecommerce functionality and experience of working in packages
Qualifications and Skills
Formal training in project management practices
Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle
Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
Experience working on projects that involved architecting ecommerce &/or java based, highly scalable, high availability systems.
In-depth understanding of designing and developing java &/or ecommerce systems practices.
Strong knowledge of supporting IT
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation
Programming experience a strong plus, but not required.
Ability to work in Agile environment
Experience in Airline Industry domain will be nice to have
