Role: Delivery Lead/Project Manager
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Duration: Long Term
Rate: $50/Hr
Work experience - 6-9 years and healthcare exp is mandatory for couple of
years.
Responsibilities
Helping global customers leverage technology for implementing
complex business solutions.
Leading software design and development, maintenance and
application support for Healthcare organization and Healthcare projects.
Conduct Project & Program Manager roles including Program,
Delivery Management, Transition & Service Delivery.
Work on multiple new projects and opportunities scaling them from
business case to implementations. Work with Customer Governance/IT to agree
ways of working, governance structures, deliverables and milestones while
setting up Communication and Project Plans.
Engage multi-disciplined teams spread across multiple Geo''s, to
create an effective results oriented environment ensuring best quality
delivery standards and Project Management Best practices.
Help define IT Release strategy, communicate key project plans, QA
plans, participate in milestone reviews, Business Go/No-Go reviews.
Lead and co-ordinate Go-Live activities including execution and
deployments Plans and Checklists.
Project Planning & providing Process Improvements to existing
projects
Skills required
Proven experience as a Project Manager or other managerial
position
Deep understanding and rich experience managing various
technologies and platforms across multiple domains & geographies in a
multi-vendor environment.
Mandatory healthcare industry experience of at least 2 years
Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques
and methods
Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change
management principles
Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of
program/project management software (Basecamp, MS Project etc is a strong
advantage
Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Excellent problem-solving ability
PMP desired.
