Direct Hire - Fulltime

Innovative Software Company has a requirement for a Project Manager in our San Francisco Headquarters office. Easy access is available via BART and public transportation to our offices.
We seek a self-starter with a bright, enthusiastic, positive attitude while being able to handle a high pressure, delivery oriented environment. It is important that this person be self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks and exercise good judgment.

Manage multiple IT Software Implementations for end customers as well as internal projects
Extensive experience with all project phases, including planning, kick-off, implementation, unit/system testing, UAT, and maintenance.
Be responsible for the delivery of the project in time, budget, quality and scope.
Itemize and continuously track all project tasks.
Create, manage and track project related information, including, but not limited to:
Project schedules
Detailed project plans
Resource plans
Risk and issues logs
Status reports
Managing expectations
Manage the day-to-day activities of projects and staff; communicate with project teams as necessary to ensure project deliverables are on schedule and within cost parameters.
Proactively evaluate, coordinate, schedule and track people and other internal/external resources.
Professionally communicate project status/issues with the customer and proactively manage expectations in guaranteeing both actual and perceived project success.
Take an active role in resolving conflicts and delivering solutions.
Manage multiple concurrent projects of varying sizes at any given time.
Participate in customer acquisition activities including proposal creation, RFI, and RFP responses.

Minimum Required Experience
B.S. or B.A. degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Management, Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
3 - 5 years of hands-on project management experience in an IT software implementation or system integration environment.
Demonstrate advanced-to-expert skills in MS Office (especially Project, Excel and PowerPoint
Certification in Project Management (PMP) [is a big plus]

Mastery in customer expectation management, communications, and issue resolution.
Ability to continuously track resource activity and set priorities to meet deadlines.
Proactive with updates and engage management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
Self-motivated with ability to drive projects.
Highly organized and experienced in multi-tasking.
Fast learner with a deep understanding of software implementation and lifecycle.
