Job Description :
Position: Project Manager
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA 91320
Duration: 6 months w/ possibility of extension

Note:
Part time role - approx. 20 hours per week - can be flexible on the schedule between the hours of 8-5pm M-F - can be onsite possibly 3 days out of the 5 - flexible with that scheduling piece.

Description:
Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project oriented work efforts. Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers.
Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed.
Manages one or more cross-functional projects of medium to high complexity.
Transfer data from workshops into electronic version – in Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
Schedule workshops – book rooms, invite attendees, room preparation, order supplies.
Data collection and analysis: Excel, pivot tables, graphs on cycle time, pareto charts.
5S OE Network project and SRCA program – refining documents based on stakeholder feedback, schedule meetings and issue minutes.
Perform SharePoint site collection administration; maintain security groups and permissions; add/remove/edit basic web content and announcements; manage document libraries and maintain site hygiene; monitor and report web analytics using SharePoint and WebTrends; administer, maintain and curate communities in Yammer.
Help with 5S in the Labs – Sorting, labeling, taping, building “post 5S” spaghetti diagrams, creating Kanban cards.
Help with Visual Management system – Refining SQDIP Boards, build scheduling boards, printing & posting issue/CM boards, labeling/taping standard locations.
Help with building inventory management system in the Labs – identify items needed, minimum levels, material flow
DiD playbook updates. Develop a comprehensive checklist (with tasks, templates, RACI, etc) that will help standardize the implementation of Lean systems and practices, where AMAT assesses the maturity of implemented systems, with limited support from an OE resource.

Requirements:
Must possess basic knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques.
Lean or Operational excellence.
Experience in Project Management.
Experience in Visio, SharePoint and MS Office.
No-IT PM''s-must be operational or manufacturing/QC.
