Senior Project Manager - Loan / Lending Job Summary:

We are looking to hire two Senior Project Managers to run with one of two very large Projects the bank is currently undertaking. This Project Manager must have 10+ years of solid ownership in leading major projects, and must have Financial Institution experience in either Commercial Lending Underwriting or Retail Loans

1. Evaluating existing Commercial lending / Underwriting platform
o Project Length – 18 Months. Initial project 5-6 months is figuring out what to do. Then there will be a spin off the project to execute. Current application is Boss. Project may be to look at vendors to add to Boss, or replace Boss all together. Does not require boss experience but requires someone who has managed a project in this space before.
o Stakeholders: Unwriting team, technology team that supports the commercial platform. Will be working with Vendors – we can add on software, or replacing existing software.
2. Resigning the retail loans booking & documentation process
o Project Length – 12 Months. Project has kicked off and there is a high level of understanding how you will break down the project. Currently defined in 4 phases. Phase 1 - build a portion of what the business wants, deploy it. Phase 2- enhance that deployment. Phases are done in waterfall, but agile like in the way they are phasing out their approach vis building blocks. You will work with Card operations, help define the vision and manage tasks.
o Current Systems – ALS (retail lending) OnBase for document, cofax for a potential workflow.

Senior Project Manager - Loan / Lending Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing business cases, constructing project plans to implement solutions, (process improvements, systems, applications), and managing the implementations.
PM III project budgets can exceed $1 million and are typically complex in nature and/or contain significant risk.
Leverage in depth business and technical knowledge to effectively manage projects with greater political implications and/or technology challenges.
Typically, these projects involve cultural changes and/or implementing technologies that are brand new, (never done before), in the market place; i.e., the implementation work requires the PM III to formulate unique strategies and contingency plans to ensure success of the project.

Senior Project Manager - Loan / Lending Job Requirements:

10+ Years of Senior Project Management
o Work experience must show you as leading major projects on your own. Project must be large & complex in nature. Resumes that reflect the kind of systems, depth of projects to determine complexity.
o You have experience sitting in a PMO as well as leading both Business & IT Initiatives. You will have to look after the Business Project office (work with SMEs planning out how to do training, procedures, documents) as well as manage the IT work from development down, when will it be done, and the test environment.
Requires Financial Institution experience leading commercial or retail lending / loans processing projects.
o You must have a true understanding loans lifecycle. Proven expertise managing projects in this space.
Change Management experience
o You must have demonstrated Change Management skills. You must be able to identify CM needs. The bank has a formal CMO where big process changes take place, but you will fill the void for more technology based change management. Identify training, develop communion, identification of people impacted. You will not be doing the procedures or training, but idefnityign the need, and oversee its being done in at the right time.
Communication & Strong Leadership Skills
PMP is preferred, but not required. To convert to a Full Time Employee, you must have an active PMP.
