Job Description :
Provide project management services to support the initiation, planning and implementation of the technology deliverables for the project. This includes recommendations on scope, resources and cost, as well as the best course of action/approach to attain the project objectives.
Provide project management for project activities to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget and within scope. This includes, but is not limited to project planning, scheduling, tracking, issue management, risk management, change management, and status reporting.
Follow the State Unified Information Technology Environment (SUITE) Project Management Methodology (PMM) and System Engineering Methodology (SEM) and required deliverables.
Utilize the State’s Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool per the required Program Management Office (PMO) processes.
Skills :
Experience in project management utilizing a formal project management methodology, including experience in project planning, scheduling, tracking, Required 7 Years
Experience in project scheduling utilizing a project scheduling tool such as MS Project Required 7 Years
Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Required 7 Years
Experience in Agile Scrum Required 5 Years
Experience with State of Michigan SUITE Project Management Methodology (PMM) and System Engineering Methodology (SEM) Highly desired 2 Years
COTS implementation experience. Required 3 Years
Experience working with multiple vendors and multiple project teams Required 3 Years
Strong leadership and communication skills Required 7 Years
Experience writing Statement of Work and contract Change Notices Required 3 Years
Project Management Professional Certification Highly desired
Agile Scrum Master Certification Highly desired
Ability to handle multiple projects and sizes ranging from Enterprise wide (from $100k to over $3m projects) Required 5 Years
Strong Customer relationship experience Required 5 Years
