Position: Project Manager - Java

Position description:
- Provide Technical Leadership and manage day to day activities for the development team
- Manage OIT release process, plan and co-ordinate releases with dev team and Director.
- Plan and schedule weekly Development team meeting to track the progress and schedule release
- Monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time
- Communicate release details and schedules to the customer as required
- Maintain release repository and manage key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification list.
- Prefer change management and status monitoring through JIRA
- Set quality standards for the teams in various new testing technologies, finding new strategies for manual and automation testing.
- Accommodate Day-to-Day meetings like Agile and Scrum with the QA team
- Assign various tasks to the engineers as per strength and domain knowledge of individual
Required Technical Experience:
- Java based programming as well as leading a team of Java Developers
- 3 Yrs in leading a technical team, 5-7 Yrs of overall experience
- JEE 6.0 & 7.0 (JMS, EJB, JSF, Hibernate)
- Application Server: JBoss EAP 7.X
- Database: Oracle 11g
- Deployment Environment : Red Hat Linux / Centos
- Document Management System : Alfresco 5.x
- Web Services: JAX-RS and SOAP
- Other Tools : Jira, Git on Git Hub.
