Short Description:
The project manager will be working on multiple, concurrent, high level and high visibility projects relating to a federal mandated program.
Complete Description:
The main focus of the project manager will be from a business perspective, but they will also have to participate and oversee the development and implementation of he developed application. A greater emphasis will be placed on business experience on high profile projects combined with Business Analyst and IT - Application Development knowledge.
The PM will need to be sure the project stays on track with the timeline, scope, and within the defined budget.
The PM will be part of a PMO team responsible for all aspects of IT project governance, assessment, management and control. The ability to gather and define requirements; build a project plan; and identifying resource needs is a must.

Individuals possess multiple years of experience and are extremely competent and will often hold advanced education degrees or certifications such as a Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) or Project Manager Professional (PMP *These advanced degrees and certifications may substitute, at the sole discretion of the State, for experience at this skill set level, and for this skill set level only. They have worked on multiple critical projects; have demonstrated the judgment to plan and accomplish goals; perform a variety of complicated tasks, and may lead and direct the work of others.
