Job Title: Windchill PLM Project Manager (3 consultants)
Location: Shimizu, Japan, Wuxi, China and Ahmedabad, India – 1 onsite at each location
Length of Assignment: 1 year + extension (phase 1 is 12 months, entire program is 5 years)

Our client is beginning a large Windchill PLM implementation. The program will consist of multiple phases and last 5 years. Phase 1 will consist of rolling Windchill out to 3 manufacturing sites; Shimizu, Japan, Wuxi, China and Ahmedabad, India. There will be a System Integrator, but the client is looking for a Project Manager at each site to be the eyes and ears on the ground to ensure that the project goes well.
The work will be traditional PM work : responsible for the team, delivery weekly status reports, assign tasks, leading workshops, onboarding, etc. These resources must be very mature and able to manage projects without supervision as they will be in a different time zone than the corporate office.
Details for each Office location:
1. Project Manager for Ahmedabad, India:
The team in India is excited for the project and ready to get started. They have strong English language skills. Need a strong PM to lead the charge.
2. Project Manager for Wuxi, China:
The team in China is ready for the project; their English skills are decent. The language here will be a mix of English and Simplified Chinese. Need a PM who can keep the team focused and on track.
3. Project Manager for Shimizu, Japan:
The PM for Japan must have a “Western” mindset and be aggressive to get things done. They must understand Japanese culture, and have worked in Japan before. The team in Japan is resistant to change and the consultant will need to be well versed in change management. Japanese fluency is a must.
