At St. Jude we're transforming the way our clinicians use applications and technology to deliver lifesaving patient care. We need a self-directed and passionate project manager to join our Clinical Informatics team to lead the delivery of technology solutions that Find Cures and Save Children. St. Jude is looking for an experienced PMP to join a team in Clinical informatics that is committed to quality care and expansion of services for both the institutions and patients. This person will be analytical, adaptable to lead projects, and balancing between adhering project management principles and using creativity to develop business solutions. This position functions as the primary point of responsibility for successfully managing all projects assigned by the Director, Clinical Informatics Division.
The projects includes clinical, technical, operational, portfolio management, request management and tracking, resource management, and performance metrics.
Minimum Experience
Eight (8) years of experience required, including five (5) years of information technology experience and three (3) years of demonstrated technical project management, supervisory management, or project manager/lead
experience in a dynamic and progressive technological environment.
Previous experience with various design methodologies and project management tools is required.
Must have experience leading large scale implementations with particular focus in Infrastructure and/or Application areas.
Must possess the ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with all levels of management.
Clinical experience is strongly preferred.
Experience supporting systems in a health care setting preferred.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree is required.
Master's degree (MBA, MHA, MIS, etc preferred.
Other Credentials
Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) required or obtainable within one year of hire.
