Barrister Global Services Network Inc. is currently looking for a motivated, highly detailed, organized and outgoing individual to support one of our major nationwide clients. The successful applicant should be able to quickly adapt their knowledge to the current IT environment and be able to enhance the current systems in place. They should also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills so as to be understood by technical and non-technical personnel.

Job Summary:

This position shares responsibility for planning, directing, and coordinating activities pertaining to technology projects for a given business unit. For a candidate that wants to fill in the position of Mid /Senior Level Project Manager he or she needs to be experienced in managing full life-cycle projects, including schedule, budget, risk/issue management and status reporting to various levels of the organization. You will need ensure that project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives and monitor project activities. The candidate needs to adherence to IS&S PMO quality standards and PMO quality standards.


Essential Job Functions:

Assemble a project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules.
Establish and update project plans and budgets with actual and forecasts and, with assistance, manage deviations from plan and project parameters.
Conduct project meetings, project tracking and analysis.
Ensure all project objectives are clearly documented, approved and delivered to meet customer needs
Manage the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables.
Communicate timely project status to all stakeholders.
Manage project risk, develop mitigation plans, and escalate decisions and unresolved issues.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Mentor Project Managers and actively participate in PMO process improvement initiatives.



Requirements :

5 - 10 years of Project Management experience delivering large and/or complex projects.
Business Analysis skills
Expertise in applying the systems development and project management life-cycle processes
Proven track record of delivering objectives on time and within budget.
Proven problem solving and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability in team motivation and delegation.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to customers and to all levels within the organization.



Preferred :

Undergraduate degree required in business, math, computer science, engineering, or related discipline with an information technology focus (preferred
High level of analytical ability.
Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
