The Project Manager is a senior project management role that leads and manages all aspects of multiple large-scale projects and strategic initiatives with significant financial or business impact ranging in size and complexity. He/She will implement projects within scope, on time and within budget. The Project Manager III will manage and coach project teams and stakeholders defining performance goals and execution from initiation to closure. He/She leads scope definition, risk identification, monitoring and reporting, communication plans and project schedules, will report on project status, determine time frames on deliverables and milestones, staffing and resource requirements and lead others to make meaningful process improvements. In addition, the Project Manager III may manage small Programs.

EXPERIENCE:

5 years relevant financial services experience preferred.
Knowledge of functional area may be required
Minimum 8 years formal project management experience leading projects and teams varying in size, risk, scope and complexity.

POSITION DUTIES:

A2 Drive/participate in the funding process, as appropriate (e.g., presentations, cost-benefit analysis, business case
A3 Lead or contribute to the development of project definition and scope with applicable stakeholders.
A4 Identify project duration, effort, sequence, and dependencies of tasks required to meet applicable project objectives.
A5 Monitor and document project milestones and outcomes throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to established quality standards.
A6 Conduct Project Team meetings and situational analysis regularly to ensure appropriate communication to all stakeholders
A7 Develop presentations, dashboards, reports and other team and executive level project communications and documentation.

B2 Develop, communicate and implement project risk mitigation plans and complete Risk, Actions, Issues and Decisions documentation to effectively monitor risk and enable accountability and responsibility.
B3 Develop and implement contingency and recovery plans when deliverables are missed (e.g., identify critical path, document, plan for Return to Green, Business Continuity Plan, etc)
B4 Document and communicate project changes, project health and project status to project team, Business Owner and Executive Sponsor
B5 Responsible for accurate and timely reporting against the project plan and budget in line with appropriate governanceC2 Responsible for all aspect of the team member life cycle, including recruitment, coaching, development and performance management.

C1 This position may have people management responsibility.

QUALIFICATION:

Minimum 8 years formal project management experience leading projects and teams varying in size, risk, scope and complexity. 5 years relevant financial services experience preferred, Demonstrated ability to build strong collaborative business and technology relationships; recognizes organizational limitations and uses corporate culture and resources to eliminate barriers when possible.
Excellent communication, problem solving and decision making skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels in the organization Demonstrated experience engaging the support and resources of others to achieve project goals and objectives; influencing with and without authority Skilled in cross-cultural awareness, leadership, communication, influence, negotiation and conflict resolution.,
Experience in managing multi-year projects with cross-enterprise interdependencies.
Proficient with Project and Portfolio Management Tools. (SharePoint, Visio, Excel, MS Project, etc Ability to analyze project data, metrics and financials, making data-driven analytical decisions. Knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools (i.e. SDLC, Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, Iterative
Understanding, application, and ability to articulate industry project management principles, theories, and concepts.,

LICENSE/ CERTIFICATION:

PMP Certification preferred,
PMP Certification required if less than 10 years experience
