Job Description:
Demonstrated experience managing utility distribution substation projects:
o Engineering Phase
o Contracting Phase
o Construction Phase
o Commissioning and Acceptance Phase
Demonstrated experience managing utility distribution line projects:
o Engineering and ROW phase
o Contracting Phase
o Construction Phase
Experience forecasting future spend, managing budgets, and conducting analysis of variances between actual charges and forecasted spend
Experience with accrual based accounting principles
Experience with writing/approving project contract scope statements
Experience with reviewing contractor bid proposals
Experience applying Risk Management principles to projects, developing strategies to lessen impact on projects
Experience with project Change Order Management – examples of how to minimize
Experience with project team development
Demonstrated communication from bargaining unit worker through C level executives
Experience bringing developing project lessons learned and implementing previous lessons learned into new projects.
Experience with industrial/infrastructure projects – large scale power distribution, pipeline projects, power generation projects, large commercial building projects
Knowledge of PMBOK project management processes and examples of implementing them throughout all project phases.
