This project aims to address those remediation items that were uncovered as part of the study and to implement processes and a solution that fully complies with IFRS standards.
This resource will be responsible for Project Management of the Accounting Team and will work closely with our National Manager Accounting, New Standards Adoption (Project Leader) and coordinate with Project Managers from other disciplines. This individual will need to be strategic and forward thinking and understand the implications/impacts of an IFRS Implementation on the Accounting Group.
Project Manage key components of the project
Assist with updating the detailed project plan and track progress
Facilitate the creation and review of vendor management documentation and ensure compliance with Vendor Management Office procedures
Follow-up with each accountable areas to ensure that deliverables remain on schedule
Work with business to identify areas requiring decisions/clarity in order to define project scope and objectives/requirements.
Identify and assess risks inherent in the project and due to changes in scope (business decisions/changes), resources, or timeline
Ensure that all components supporting the end-to-end objective/requirement have been assigned
Create, maintain and manage project documentation
Prepare presentations for internal meetings
