Job Description:

This position serves as Project Manager to the Office of Information Technology Application Development team dedicated to this project. The PM will assist the OIT group leadership in defining and managing the scope of work needed to transition existing legacy systems to interface feeds to the LTSS Care Management System. They will report to both OIT application development leadership and to the DHHS Lead Project Manager who has oversight of the entire project. The vendor will also provide a Project Manager to support their delivery process.

Deliverables:

· Status reporting of the project plan and work breakdown structure, with key milestones (30%)

· Coordination, management, and risk mitigation of project work tasks defined in project plan, and resource allocation (40%)

· Develop a quality control plan and accountability toward the measures (15%)

· Directly work with DHHS Lead Project Manager to provide updates and project team communications (15%)

Required Technical Skills:

· Experience in working with IT development teams to define and schedule work. Experience in projects focusing on building out interfaces between hosted and cloud based services a plus.

· Demonstrated ability to assist internal development team in defining technical challenges and resolution strategies to accommodate vendor project plans – Project Managers for vendor and OIT teams will work closely to manage plan deliverables

· Demonstrated facilitation skills with excellent oral and written communication skills

· Windows 7 with Office 2016 (Intermediate; 1 year); Our office uses Windows 7, need to be proficient in Office 2016 products such as Outlook, Excel, Word and perhaps PowerPoint.

· Project Management Experience (Advanced; 2 years); Experience project managing large, complex technology initiatives. PMP certification preferred.

· Experience tracking budget items and forecasting cost management data

· SDLC experience in Agile Methodologies

· Process-flow and/or dataflow diagram experience

· UML Modeling tools (LucidChart, draw.io etc at an advanced level?

· Office 2016 is our primary tool for scheduling, collaboration, documentation, and communication. Intermediate to advanced skillset required in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Technical Skills:

· Strong experience in use of Microsoft Project and Excel for managing work plans and project details.

· Jira (Intermediate; 1 year); We use Jira for project and task tracking. Ability to use Jira to develop status reports

· SharePoint (Intermediate; 1 year); We will be using SharePoint as our document repository during the project lifecycle.
