We have an urgent requirement for Project Manager with our direct client

Position: Project Management IT Healthcare Consultant-Project Manager-Project Lead
Duration: 12+ months
Location: Columbia, SC

General Duties:-

Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of all project-oriented work efforts performed by the agency PMO.
Support agency project investment strategy and oversee the full portfolio of projects to ensure that they align with that strategy, as well as long-term agency goals.
Provide process, portfolio, release, performance and quality management services to ensure successful delivery of projects and approved request for change (RFC) modifications to projects.
Develop and maintain a viable, ongoing communications and project success reporting strategy to all program areas and service units throughout the agency.
Manage relationships with project stakeholders and agency leadership regarding the status of approved projects and RFCs within the PMO enterprise portfolio.
Develop and conduct presentations and trainings on agency governance and PMO project management processes to PMO contract staff, agency staff, and other project stakeholders.
Advise the Assistant Deputy Director for Enterprise Operations on contract staff hiring and resource management within the PMO.
Advise the Assistant Deputy Director for Enterprise Operations on overall talent management, including succession planning, coaching for performance, and team member development.
Coach contract staff to adapt to multiple demands, shifting priorities, and rapid change.
Ensure that project requirements are identified, documented, and met.
Constantly evaluate and improve internal processes with the aim of enhancing customer satisfaction.
Provide project and change management expertise to plan, organize, control, and deliver multiple Enterprise-level projects, including project scope, goals, change impact plans, work plans, estimation of budgets, timelines, deliverables, project risks and mitigations, and resources required for successful and timely completion of projects.
Identify potential project risks and implement appropriate courses of action to address project slippage and mitigate future risks.
Escalate critical issues for appropriate and timely resolution as needed.
Work with programs and stakeholders to delivery quality outcomes through requirements, documentation, analysis, and recommendations.
Support the agency project investment and investment review governance processes as directed by the Assistant Deputy Director for Enterprise Operations.
Provide quality management services to examine, review, and assess project and change delivery processes based on established, industry standards.
Oversee the development and management of standards and methodologies for project management.
Ensure projects are defined, tracked, and executed in a consistent and effective manner that will maximize project success.
Assess and analyze the portfolio of enterprise-level projects on the basis of schedule, costs, quality, and resource allocation to determine potential success of project delivery.
Report status, performance and financial health of projects to all project stakeholders, including the program EOCs and the Investment Review Board.
Develop measurement processes and metrics for assessing progress toward project goals and/or change outcomes.

Required Skills

7 years or more in project management.
3 years or more in team management.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Project planning experience, including effort estimation on project execution tasks and resource allocation.
Experience working with risk management, including risk forecasting, assessment, and remediation planning.
Ability to create project health metrics to determine and report on project progress and probability of success.

Preferred Skills:-

Medicaid or Healthcare Delivery Systems.
Business Analysis.
Bachelor’s Degree or Higher

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:-

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
