POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating activities and resources in support of ADE’s technical projects. The fundamental reason for this position is to utilize a variety of technical systems to organize and coordinate IT projects and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency.



RESPONSIBILITIES

Meet with program/project manager to understand all vital aspects of project

Responsible to take input from Program Management Director, business analysts, project managers to develop and maintain the detailed schedule

Develop and maintain detailed project schedule which includes administrative tasks and departments involved in the project what needs to be completed by what date, as well as of team meetings and coordinating with other members

Responsible to track project changes and produces updated site-based schedule as agreed with IT and project management

Assist program/project manager in various activities such as budget monitoring and in meetings with management

Prepare and/or edit meeting minutes, agendas, presentations and tables

File all project documents (hard and soft copies)

Participation in Team Meetings and some stakeholder meetings

Communicating relevant information to all team members, such as change in schedule dates, changes in the project’s requirements

All other duties as assigned



REQUIREMENTS



BS Degree CS or MIS or equivalent experience in related roles

Prior Project Coordinator experience preferred

Familiarity with project management processes

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Proficient in Microsoft Project; Knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) preferred

Demonstrated ability to use discretion and make sound decisions

Ability to excel in a collaborative and distributed team environment

Ability to work with a minimal amount of direction while being pro-active in keeping their management informed of project related issues

Ability to work under pressure

Ability to respectfully question ideas and share a point of view with others in support of the business requirements and needs

Ability to effectively communicate with various levels of employees ranging from entry level to senior leadership

Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and shift priorities quickly

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong aspiration to learn new technologies

Proven strong relationship-building and communication skills with team members and business users

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Experience in the education industry preferred
