Responsibilities: The Project Coordinator is responsible for providing preclinical project support for St. Jude collaborations. This includes working with a multi-institutional project team by: (a) aggregating and integrating biological, chemical, and pharmacological data from project team members and other relevant data sources, (b) maintaining an organized project environment, (c) establishing and tracking project timelines and milestones, (d) updating the project SharePoint site and associated database, (e) communicating with industry collaborators, (f) tracking establishment and characterization of patient-derived xenograft samples, (g) monitoring program budgets, and (h) other related duties as directed to meet the goals and objectives of the program and institution. Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in an appropriate scientific field is required Master's or PhD preferred Minimum Experience: Eleven (11) years of related bench research or translational research or drug discovery experience required with BS. Seven (7) years of related bench research or translational research or drug discovery experiencer required with a MS. Three (3) years of related bench research or translational research or drug discovery experience required with a PhD Experience with Microsoft Outlook Calendar tools and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint required Experience with Microsoft SharePoint preferred. Experience with project management methodologies preferred Strong interpersonal/communication (oral and written) skills with the ability to work as a team player Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy Exceptional reading, writing, and grammar skills are required Ability to participate in the facilitation and documentation of project related meetings Independent, detail oriented and self-motivated with excellent organizational skills Demonstrated knowledge and expertise with spreadsheet (including graphs,) database and presentation applications at a level normally acquired through completion of intermediate Microsoft Office Training
