Job Description:

The role of a Project Control Analyst (PCA) is to act as a resource supporting multiple projects lead by Program and Project Managers.
The PCAs assists with maintaining the Project Portfolio Management tool (HP-PPM) to provide accurate tracking, reporting, and communication.
The Project Control Analyst (PCAs) ensures all project updates are included in the tool and help PMs provide accurate tracking, reporting and communication.
This allows the PMs more flexibility to manage project budget, funding, scope, communication and resources that deliver products that achieve business value for our client.

Functional Skills & Competency:
Assist Program Manager/Project Manager to:
Analyze budget, resource and spend / identify trends
Coordinate project plans at program Level; consolidate plans to program level
Administer HP-PPM (Project Portfolio Management Tool)
Administer SharePoint Site
Administer Change Request Process
Administer Issue & Risk Process
Request Resource Allocations
Assign tasks to allocated resources
Executive Reporting Support

Administer all project updates in HP-PPM (Portfolio Management Tool) to include but not limited to:
Request Resource Allocations
Assign tasks to allocated resources
Update project work plan
Setup Project Tasks
Assign Resources
Create, update, and upload Scorecards
Capture Issues & Risks
Close Project Tasks
Ensure project resources are billing to appropriate tasks (Actual vs. Forecast)

Leadership & Business Acumen:
Previous airline, travel, and / or transportation industry experience preferred
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work in a team environment
Skilled in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel – High proficiency [analyze data utilizing advanced Excel functions, Pivot Tables, etc.])
Intermediate to Advanced financial, analytical, and research skills
Communicates appropriately and efficiently to stakeholders, gaining trust and building consensus
Good Time Management skills with ability to prioritize
Proactive, self-driven individual with strong support/customer service attitude
Familiarity with budget/financial concepts
Understanding of HP-PPM or other portfolio management tools
Knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, and managing the financial information on a project
