Job Description:

Works closely with business users as a member of an agile team to migrate mainframe functionality and deliver new features in software applications written in ASP.NET Web Forms and MVC.

Responsible for planning, developing and unit testing high performing and reusable software written in C# using the .NET Framework.

Responsible for designing and delivering REST web services using ServiceStack for consumption by internal and external clients.

Responsible for utilizing Microsoft SQL and IBM DB2 to deliver complex data-driven applications.

Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving production bugs in the applications supported by DCSE.

Responsible for working closely with Business Analysts and QA Testers to deliver high quality software.

Demonstrate knowledge in .NET Framework 4.6 using the C# language.

Demonstrate the ability to work with web applications written in ASP.NET MVC and Web Forms.

Demonstrate knowledge of REST web services using Web API or similar technologies.

Demonstrate experience with MS SQL and Object-Relational Mapping tools such as Entity Framework.

Demonstrate proficiency in client-side technologies including JavaScript, jQuery and Bootstrap 3. Prefer experience with Kendo UI and Telerik UI for ASP.NET.

Demonstrate the ability to use Git for version control.

Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

Required Skills:

Experience using ServiceStack to write REST web services

Experience using Aspose.Words and Aspose.PDF to manipulate and generate documents

Experience with LLBLGen ORM

Experience using TypeScript

Experience in Microsoft development environment
