Job Description:

Support the existing Human Capital Management (HCM) system and assist in the design and development of Human Resource Management System (HRMS HCM consolidates the decentralized and fragmented Human Resource information management systems of various executive agencies into one enterprise system, and HRMS has been initiated to transform the NYS Human Resource process.
Day to day tasks:
The consultant will work within a designated team and coordinate with multiple developers in a technical team setting, provide daily guidance to other technical developers and assistance as needed to support any of our PeopleSoft Applications, including Human Capital Management (HCM) module, Talent Acquisition Management (TAM) and Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) module.
· Develop complex PeopleSoft Application Engine programs based on customer requirements.
· Write complex PeopleCode to customize PeopleSoft Application Packages to enrich functionalities of the systems.
· Customize the complex People HR Smart Templates in conjunction with PeopleSoft Application Workflow Engine to meet customer requirements
· Monitor interface programs and resolve issues in a time-sensitive environment.
· Work in coordination with the customers to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
· Produce documentation such as technical and functional documentation, as well as options documentation based on the requirements gathered from the customer.
· Write Structured Query Language (SQL) proficiently as it will be used heavily to diagnose problem and resolve issues.
· Prepare demo environments for demonstration of PeopleSoft features to stakeholders.


Mandatory Qualification:

Programmer

- Analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team- Maintenance (including production support), enhancement and development work- Write application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions

Expert

84+ Months: Candidate is able to provide leadership of large teams and/or extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field

Requested Qualifications:
At least 84 months programming experience developing with PeopleTools.
At least 48 months programming experience developing with PeopleTools 8.53 or higher.
At least 48 months programming experience with PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) 9.2 or higher in Work Force Administration Module in state government
At least 48 months of experience with PeopleSoft Application Workflow Engine and Smart HR Templates.
At least 48 months of experience programming Interfaces with Payroll and Time & Attendance data directly related to Work Force Administration Module
At least 48 months of experience using Application Designer on PeopleTools 8.53 or higher and PeopleSoft project migration tools such as Phire.
At least 60 months of experience using SQL against an Oracle relational database to support PeopleSoft related tasks working in a UNIX environment configuration and conversion changes.
