Description of Duties
This project will utilize multiple project managers. The Project Managers share management responsibility of system implementation. Program Personnel will be part of the system JAD sessions and pilot implementation process. T
The Program Project Manager is responsible for the program specific activities:
Facilitates project management within operations
Conducts JAD sessions with operations staff for functionality requirements and priorities
Reports project status
Create project schedules
Tasks employees and contractors with work related to the project
Facilitate communication from program team members to IT staff and contractors
Assist in the oversight of contractor deliverables and activities
Product/Project Management:
o Project manage among multiple internal stakeholders including design, analysis, public relations and editorial teams to ensure product rollouts stay on schedule.
o Assist with the quality assurance of new features, UX improvements, bug fixes and other day-to-day site operations.
o Coordinate with the entire team to support new resources, logistics and statement of work management.
Program Management:
o Account Management and support for Contractors
o Data analysis and reporting for program partners when required
o Work with Product Owners and Business Units to understand needs and ensure success
Research and Analysis:
o Track site performance and usage metrics, track new impact of new feature rollout
o Identify key performance metrics and work with the Teams to generate
o Research and analyze opportunities for improvement
Product Owner:
o Active participation in a cross-functional team planning; representing User Experience alongside visual design, product management, application development and QA resources.
o Creates assets for user research, prototypes, process flows, wireframes, and design specifications for documentation.
o Participates in and contributes to the planning and analysis of user research, and then based on the findings recommends new UX flows/designs and then works with team to implement enhancements
o Works with Product Owners, Designers and Developers in the development of use cases/stories required to document the business rules and expected user behaviors.
o Participates in project reviews; manages the User Experience group in the development and promotion of, and compliance to, experience design standards.
o You are the liaison between technology and design. You will help your team and your client''s team understand the relationship between the two and how each can benefit the other.
Knowledge
o Considerable working knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
o Considerable knowledge of the organization’s methodologies and tools
o Considerable knowledge of the organization’s policies and procedures
o Considerable knowledge of interrelationships among various internal & external organizational functions
o Proficiency with Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)

Qualifications:

o Demonstrated ability to synthesize feedback and adjust plans accordingly

o Advanced project management skills
o Demonstrated ability to develop and write technical documentation
o Demonstrated ability in leading team(s) to design solutions for clients

Experience
o Bachelor’s degree plus 5 or more years of experience in project coordination and management (or equivalent experience)
o Arizona State Project Management Certification
o Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
