Job Description:

Program Manager
Savannah, GA
Domain: Aircraft, aircraft interiors , cabin upgrades , Avionics

Manage the program operations: Plan the overall program from end-to-end, validate the SOW, create the WBS, create project schedule, create the work packages, allocate the associates to the project and monitor the progress report for various milestones. Approve the project plans of the project teams, negotiating work packages as required. Ensure the delivery of these work packages within the set time, quality, and budget constraints. Create and maintain the program plan, showing an integrated realization of the key deliverables of the program. Plan and manage the resources. Put in place the governance and operational working practices of the program team. Periodic publish the project report.
Manage the program team: build it, manage it, and motivate it as required. Coach and mentor the team, building their maturity and authority.
Manage the program budget: Estimation of the Program/Projects ensure that costs incurred are monitored against plans and realize benefits as planned as the program progresses.
Need to organise daily calls with offshore and onsite teams for better understanding of the SOW and project status.
Organizing weekly , bi monthly , monthly and quarterly Governance calls with customer and internal stakeholders.
Manage the program risk: Identify the risks and issues and initiate corrective action as necessary. Manage the program risks, and embed a risk management process into the program from the outset.
Manage the program stakeholders: Communicate regularly and effectively will all stakeholders, within the team, within the organization, and the Customer.
Manage the business: Discuss proactively with the customer for new opportunity and growth of the existing business. Take overall responsibility for the benefits realization plan and projections. Ensure that the plan realizes benefits in the best way for the organization with help of sales team.
Manage the program Co-ordination: Responsible and accountable for the coordinated management of multiple related projects directed toward strategic business and other organizational objectives. Co-ordinate between the onsite offshore teams. Report overall program status to the steering group at regular intervals and on an ad-hoc basis.
Manage the program quality: Be responsible for program quality, and embed quality processes into the program from the outset. Work closely with the Quality Assurance as necessary.
Manage the Program dependencies: Manage and resolve dependencies between the projects of the program. Responsible and accountable for deliverables from third parties as necessary.

Skill set:
Experience in Avionics, STC, cabin upgrades projects.
Experience in Refurbishments and aircraft interiors projects in business jets.
A track record of delivering complex programs.
Experience of working within, influencing within, and networking within a matrix environment.
Conversant with project management methodologies and Aeronautical standards.
15+ plus years industry experience, with a minimum of 5 years in project and/or program management.
Experienced in team of 10+ people.
