Title: Program Manager

Location: Norcross, GA

Contract: 24 months

Visa: Citizen, Green Card or EAD

If not local to Atlanta, GA must be able to come to Atlanta.

his is a Program Manager role with responsibility for leading efforts in implementing multiple Information Technology (IT) project initiatives and special projects.

SPECIFIC SKILL SET REQUIRED

Experience must reflect project management of teams across multiple areas and multiple projects simultaneously.

JD Edwards software project management and implementation are required.

Functional expertise in JDE modules – Financials or Distribution.

Process focused to drive adherence to processes and standards

Highly organized and proactive - follows through and follows up

Prioritizes, gives direction, and delegates across multiple projects.

Diplomatic

Good communication skills to all levels.

WHAT WILL YOU BE WORKING ON

Measures, monitors and reports on project performance with defined metrics. Plans and executes remedial actions when project is off track.

Tracks, monitors, and communicates status for project budget.

Removes roadblocks for the project team and finds resolutions to issues and conflicts. Escalates to project sponsor
or management as appropriate.

Provides the required level of status reporting to management and stakeholders. Meets regularly with sponsor or project advisory board to review project progress and receive directions.

Proactively identifies and analyzes project risks. Formulates and executes mitigation and contingency plans. Works
with other project managers to resolve inter-project conflicts or dependencies. Escalates when appropriate.

Serves as the main point of contact on the project for all stakeholders and manages stakeholder relationships.
Assists the sponsor or business/system owners with securing stakeholder support for the project.

Ensures project planning, execution and reporting follow established processes, standards, methodologies and
best practices within the organization. Host, attend, and support all required reviews.

Works with the project team to produce and maintain all required project documentation. Completes all required
documentation audits.

Coaches Project Leaders on best practices to accomplish project goals.

Manages vendor relationships related to assigned projects, monitors their performance and oversees their
resources as needed. Supports contractor interviews as needed.

Works with resource managers to assemble and maintain the appropriate team of resources to meet project needs and requirements.

Maintains an awareness of new project management techniques. Assists management with the continuous
improvement of project management processes and standards when requested.

Develops project plans that will deliver on objectives as defined by the project sponsor, to determine stakeholder requirements and translate them into project deliverables and milestones.

EDUCATION REQUIRED OR DESIRED: BA or higher.

CERTIFICATION(S) REQUIRED OR DESIRED: PMI certification desired.
