Position : Program Manager
Location : Phoenix, AZ

Job Description:
Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating large strategic programs from initiation through to implementation within a Service Delivery/Production Operations organization. Leads cross-functional program teams and works with the organization to determine and interpret requirements into technology solutions. Responsible for managing program costs, resources, change requests, risk and issues to ensure that maximum business benefit maintained as well as provision of regular program status updates.
Key responsibilities:
Develops the program strategy and the various enterprise-wide high-level project plans and ensures that scope and approach are fully understood by all stakeholders
Ensures integration of projects and adjusts project scope, timing, and budgets as needed, based on objectives
Identifies and tracks key milestones and recommend adjustments to cross-functional team plans
Ensures accurate reflection of project/program budgets, forecasts and actuals within project and program management tools
Monitors and communicates the progress of the project or program delivery and ensures timely and effective communication of the status in terms of cost, forecast, schedule and assessment of risks/issues
Negotiates and influences cross-functional teams to ensure appropriate resourcing levels are engaged and maintained throughout the execution of the plan
Pro-actively anticipates program/project risks and issues and ensures that appropriate mitigation planning is in place to avoid compromising delivery
Contributes to continual process improvement or re-engineering activities
Communicates with key stakeholders with regard to program strategy direction and changes
Qualifications:
Proven collaboration and negotiation skills along with the ability to influence without authority
Prior experience leading large projects and programs with proven experience in a leadership role
Strong track record of managing multiple projects/programs simultaneously with a demonstrated skill and maturity with program management practices, including risk and change management
Practical experience in doing both written and verbal communication effectively to multiple levels within the organization
Analytical mind with ability to deal with ambiguous or undefined problems
Strategic and innovative mindset, with the desire to react quickly, think critically, challenge the status quo, create innovative solutions, and drive transformation
7+ years relevant Program/Project Management experience
Experience facilitating Agile, Scrum, or other rapid application development teams to deliver technology solutions on time, on budget, and to spec
Experience with design and coding across one or more platforms and languages a plus
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred
