Please note-candidates must be Program Manager level (not Project Manager And must have very strong hospital Meaningful Use experience.

CONSULTANT DESCRIPTION
Meaningful Use Program Manager-MUST HAVE STRONG MEANINGFUL USE EXPERIENCE
Needs to understand Meaningful Use regulatory, Cerner, Soarian, Meditech.
If not local, travel to Livonia, MI each week for 3 months, Monday - Friday preferred or Sunday through Thursday
Communicate at the Executive level on a regular basis
Pay close attention to detail
Tracking and managing teams'' progress
Vendor management
Familiarity with the State & National regulations and time frames
Lead steering team meetings once a month
Overall responsibility & accountability for financials

POSITION PURPOSE
This role leads the delivery of a program of information technology projects for Client Office and the RHMs. Works extensively with leaders in the shared services organizations, RHMs and TIS leading the development of strategic information technology plans. Oversees and manages program and project managers in the delivery of Client’s information technology implementations. Accountable for successfully managing and meeting expected project outcomes and client satisfaction for a program of projects across the enterprise.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced degree preferred.
2. Five (5) to eight (8) years of IT project management experience in healthcare environment managing progressively complex projects and interfacing with various external customers.
3. Project management certification strongly desired.
4. Proven ability to successfully manage projects within a highly complex organizational structure and with limited direction.
5. Extensive project management experience and ability to apply appropriate project management methodology.
6. Considerable knowledge of and experience in developing and managing project budgets and determining staffing needs.
7. Ability to work independently, in a self-directed manner and with minimal direction or oversight. Ability to drive positive results in difficult situations and cope with multiple ever-changing priorities.
8. Must possess strong project facilitation skills and ability to lead meetings with diverse member interests.
9. Project Management coursework or certification preferred.
10. Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with non-technical leaders and business owners providing a clear understanding of technology solutions to support and enhance business needs.
11. Prior experience in managing a large staff and/or working in a matrix work environment.
12. Extensive knowledge of multiple technologies and experience with enterprise-wide applications and systems in an integrated work environment.
13. Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
14. Focus on enhancing performance metrics and overall operational effectiveness as it relates to IT technology and productivity.
