Job Description:-

The Consumer Lending practice at Tavant Technologies Inc. is looking for a
hands-on Program Manager for leading large software development programs for
one of the key customers. The candidate will be responsible for delivering
high quality software within estimated budget and schedule and nurturing a
very strong relationship with the customer.

The ideal candidate will be an expert in project/program management with a
strong software development background and will have exceptional problem
solving and communication skills. S(he) will be a fast learner and ready to
adapt as per the situation demands

Key Responsibilities:-

Develop and deliver project management program encompassing all
the details of the AXIS program to the team members.
Review and manage a continuous improvement process across the
account for all projects.
Perform regular project reviews and collect metrics.
Manage human resources by:
- Setting Key Result Areas and expectations for each team member
- Supervising and monitoring team performance
- Reviewing performance and recommending appropriate actions
- Identifying and recommending staff augmentation and development
requirements
- Keeping a tab on burnout and attrition levels
Conduct account level scrum for overall status, risk management,
issues, escalations
Collate, create materials for and participate in delivery reviews
and quarterly business review
Co-ordinate and provide direct oversight for AXIS, dot releases,
BRMS, PoC projects
Participate / conduct defect triage, sprint, release retros
ST/UAT phase - monitor JIRA for priority defects and work with PM
for prompt action
Accomplishes human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting,
orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and
disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning,
monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and
reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and
recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing
action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and
customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits;
identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing
an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating
corrective actions.
Take part and drive process improvement initiatives.
Provide coaching and guidance to the team members about every
aspect of the project so that the team members can understand their tasks
fully and act on them efficiently
Keep an eye of latest strategies, tools and terminologies used in
project management worldwide so that he may also make adopt them to increase
productivity.
Ensure 100% compliance of the SEPG processes.
Identify lean periods and raise flags in advance to allow
identification of new projects
Participate in contracts and negotiations.
Manage risks by:
- Identifying risks
- Strategizing risk mitigation, transference and acceptance
- Monitoring and addressing risk events
Monitor and report project progress by:
- Meeting business reporting requirements
- Measuring performance versus plan
- Identifying and managing risks
- Updating project plans
- Ensuring technical quality and appropriate sign off at every stage of the
project
- Project budget tracking on a weekly basis and provide project profit and
loss

Preferred Qualification:-

Strong knowledge on current web technologies and experience in
developing large scale web applications
Experience with agile methodologies
Knowledge in US residential mortgage or Financial Services
