Description
The Program Manager functions as a coordinator for client’s departmental and cross-functional product development teams; with a focus on the delivery of products, features, and enhancements from requirements gathering through delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor the product/program/project from initiation through delivery
Plan the overall program, monitor progress, coordinate interdependencies
Gather and analyze requirements from internal and external sources
Define the program governance (controls)
Manage and utilize resources across projects; work with engineering, quality assurance, and the product leadership team
Lead small project team meetings
Work with program managers to create training materials and other program management documentation as required (customization orders, scopes of work, etc
Ensure completion of the product/program/project on schedule and within budget, time, and scope constraints
Escalate issues as required, including the ability to communicate technical information gathered during stages of troubleshooting
Demonstrate proficiency with all aspects of scrum master activities, including: the team, all scrum events, and scrum artifacts
Participate in activities in preparation to function as a business analyst, including becoming familiar with all aspects of: business requirements, functional possibilities for the entire system, communicating details of projects, supporting project implementation, determining functional and non-functional requirements, driving user acceptance testing, demonstrating effective technical writing, decision-making and problem-solving strategies, maintaining the system and operations, and team building

Requirements
Proven project management skills, knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Agile and Scrum processes
Thorough understanding and experience with software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum processes
Able to form basic queries and extract data from the relational database
Ability to demonstrate the installation, configuration, and use of client’s software products
Ability to manage project schedules, lead teams, and successfully interact with customers
Ability to meet stringent deadlines, and the ability to motivate co-workers to meet those deadlines
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Ability to travel up to 25% of the calendar year
Strong negotiation and conflict management skills
Experience completing detail-oriented, administrative, program management tasks

Education and Experience
3 to 4 years of experience in Software Development Management or Software Product Management
BA/BS in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred
