Description:
Looking for an experienced Program Manager to organize and coordinate program for Architecture and Security.
You will provide the tracking of strategic initiatives for the Architecture Office and Security Office program by pulling together the inter-related activities of the technical, business and operational contributors to ensure that the resulting products meets the long-term project strategic goals.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers to produce results in a timely manner. You will also be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics.
The goal is to ensure that the program provides value and creates synergy by delivering a stream of incremental benefits to achieve the desirable strategic outcome to our organization.
Update project documents, including: project work plan, risk matrix, staffing plan, scope, deployment schedule, project budgets and project forecasts. Update program documents, including: program budgets, program forecasts, business cases, decision point documents.
Responsible for project monitoring and control, reviewing actual performance to plan, developing quality metrics and reporting.
Program governance and oversight to control the achievement of Strategy vision and to establish accountability and ownership for tracking and delivering intended benefits.
Applies Program planning based on the program’s component projects’ plans and schedules.
Ensures adherence to Enterprise Program Management Standards and applies Performance and Benefits Management processes to the program lifecycle.
Maintain all Program Level process documentation in accordance with department procedures. Identify and define process deliverables and artifacts that will become established department standards.
Aligns individual project plans and strategies to the larger program vision to achieve macro-level benefits and results. Helps identify cross-project dependencies and develops program risk mitigation strategies.
Provides “phase-gate” reviews with the Program Sponsor and obtains approvals at key decision points to assure delivery of intended benefits.
Proactively recommends recalibration or conclusion of the Program based on an assessment of benefit realization.
Influence stakeholders in all levels and departments to accept and support broad Program Level changes.
Maintain awareness of new technologies, methodologies, and projects within the Program Level and recommend appropriate measures for Program integration.
Deliver on program level goals, budget, and deadline requirements or negotiate any necessary changes with project sponsor, management, and senior leadership.
Provide direction and assistance to other project managers within the Program on effective practices, methods, and tools.
Responsible for program monitoring reviewing actual performance to program plans, managing corrective actions, negotiating and managing changes, and assessing the impact of changes to program.

Requirements:
B.A., B.S. or other baccalaureate/undergraduate degree with a major or specialized courses in: Computer Science or Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
Experience in managing IT Architecture, Infrastructure and Security related projects.
10 years’ experience that demonstrates competency in Program Management.
PMI PMP Certification, or Master’s degree or emphasis area in Project Management.
Understanding of agile processes, team velocity and the ability to forecast progress accordingly.
Must have excellent skills with MS Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint.
