Resource is required to be on the assignment for the required hours as specified in the job description.
Forty hours per week is the expectation in the absence of specified hours.
Attendance and punctuality are essential components of the position; therefore, unexcused absences and tardiness could result in dismissal.
7 - 10 years. Provides support after the solution goes live. If resources provide support from development through production, role should be chosen based on where the majority of their time is spent. Production support from this role will typically fall into the third level of support: minor enhancements, batch optimization, patches, etc.
Will also have experience of supporting highly specialised technologies and / or business units Background: We are part of Application/End User Experience Monitoring team responsible for administrating and supporting Aternity Monitoring platform which monitors over 100,000 desktops and IPads in the bank.
RiverBed’s Aternity tool runs of Windows Servers on Java/Tomcat and uses Oracle RAC in the back end.
We are looking for a smart, responsible engineer to play a key role in administrating and supporting this tool.

Responsibilities: 1. Administration of the tool including: keeping the tool up and running, deploying monitors and adding users.
2. Production Support during business hours and respond to off hour pages.
3. Ensure all patches are applied on time following ITSM standards which includes Remedy Change requests.
4. Coordinate and triage the production issues with the help of DBAs, SAs and the vendor.
5. Help the team upgrade the tool and its agents.

Required Skills: 1. Excellent analysis, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
2. Administration experience of any WebLogic/WebSphere/Tomcat servers in production
3. Scripting Language: BladeLogic, PowerShell, Python or any scripting language
4. Good knowledge of SQL and Database
5. Windows Server Systems engineering experience
6. Ability to mesh easily with a close knit team
7. Ability to manage multiple simultaneous deliverables

Desirable Skills: 1. Experience in using Splunk, Introscope, BladeLogic or Ansible
