Application description
Production Support of customer facing bill payment and account management application for Southwest Gas
Expanding capabilities of application to work with and ingest data from B-2-B customers
Application was built in 2010 in SOAP SOA architecture (front End-> Java Web App -> SOAP Layer -> Oracle DB+Mainframe
Application team of 2 (expanding to 4+) requires full ownership of application and production support
Technical Requirements
Need someone who has the kind of experience that would have putt them doing End-2-End development Circa 2007-2011.
Career start no sooner than 2009 with experience on at least 1 full-stack requirement.
This is not a Single Page Application(SPA) so Crazy Javascript Gurus are not necessary (Don’t do Candidates searches on SPA… its not a big resume term)
solid understanding of Java applications using Spring
SOAP Rest Services Production and consumption (no REST in application)
solid understanding of Javascript applications using JQuery pre-Angular/SPA
solid understanding of Relational Databases and SQL
Solid understanding of Unix or Linux environments as well as managing and deploying applications in that environment.
Ability to manage and troubleshoot production environments including scripting skills (bash, python, etc) and automated deployments with Ant
Familiarity with Automated Testing approaches
Comfortable working on their own in a full-stack environment to produce End-2-End solutions.
