Looking for Product Owner of Agile Pod - that represents the .com space - this person will work with variety of business lines to help prioritize work - User story based in JIRA - Decision maker in the pod - helping with future road map activity - subject matter expert to help with questions etc. pod size 7-10 mix of developers and testers - this person is a key participant in bi weekly demo - there is remote opportunity - would like if person had some web based background -potential to be contract to perm - 2-5 years experience. Soft skills - good communication - clear articulation. the ability to translate what that pod is saying to the business line. Agile methodology.
Bachelors degree required
Experience working within a cross-functional team using Agile/Scrum
Certified Scrum Product Owner preferred
Excellent relationship building skills
3-5 years of Project Execution experience
Excellent communication skills
Strong prioritization skills and ability to quickly re-prioritize in a dynamic environment
Organized, controlled, engaged, polished meeting management
Ability to be decisive
Keep the backlog prioritized according to importance and clearly communicate the requirements to the team and work with individual team members as needed to explain requirements • Facilitate solutions across the organization; working with legal, risk, operations, UX and technology teams to prioritize, deliver solutions that align with the corporate strategy • Perform User Acceptance Testing • Ensure what is delivered meets the original goals and KPIs.
Need to have Agile experience, need to be able to create user stories, further breakdown user stories into more detailed requirements, should be able to pull information from subject matter experts to help in creating well defined stories, must be able to work onsite in Cranston at times within the Online and Mobile space, Online and/or Mobile Banking experience recommended, should have some experience using JIRA
The key to success in this group is to be a strong, forceful, but diplomatic BA who is able to drive the requirements gathering process. Candidate should be able to produce more than "plain vanilla"use cases and anticipate multiple business scenarios.
