SCOPE OF SERVICES
The Work Tracking System under this initiative would provide a new automated capability for arranging, scheduling,
assigning and routing all of the tasks involved in SNAP eligibility and case management work according to due date,
priority, availability of appropriately-skilled resources, and estimated duration. In order to keep the WTS up-to-date,
frontend and backend integration with systems such as Paperless Office System (POS) and Streamlined POS, New
York City Work, Accountability and You (NYCWAY) and the State’s Welfare Management System (WMS) will be
needed to inform and trigger various actions and indicators in the WTS. The WTS will perform automatic calculations
using dates, status values, and other inputs from these systems and leverage discrete business rules to categorize,
prioritize, and assign available work. In addition, a small number of interfaces in SPOS must be developed in order to
provide the full functionality of WTS. This includes, but not limited to Eligibility Document review and Unified SNAP
intake.
Tasks & Duties
  Perform Design and implementation
  Co-design products with business leadership, understanding and predicting the needs of the business leadership,
leading the execution and delivery of software releases using defined hybrid-agile software development life cycle
process
  Co-ordinates development and ongoing refinement of the feature backlog for all releases and any dependencies
  Leads the translation of software features into technical requirements (Features) following agile principles.
  Defines software release plan and scope with the scrum master and development teams
  Act as a single point of contact for all engineering and innovation related items for assigned products

Mandatory Skill/Expertise:
Minimum 8 Years Experience working as a Product
owner or Analyst, designing and developing
software solutions.
Minimum 8 Years Experience working in a software
development environment using one of the AGILE
SDLC methodologies.
Minimum 8 Years Experience with successful
program and project delivery as well as efficient
service delivery (high quality, low cost
Minimum 8 Years Experience directing a team to
deliver a successful project.
