Product Administrator (Data Platform)
Engineer, Information (Senior)

Location: Linthicum MD

Rate: Depends on experience (DOE)

Duties:
1. Monitor and coordinate all data system operations, including security procedures, and liaison with infrastructure, security, DevOps, Data Platform and Application team.
2. Ensure that necessary system backups are performed, and storage and rotation of backups is accomplished.
3. Monitor and maintain records of system performance and capacity to arrange vendor services or other actions for reconfiguration and anticipate requirements for system expansion.
4. Assist managers to monitor and comply with State data security requirements.
5. Coordinate software development, user training, network management and major/minor software installation, upgrade and patch management.
6. Must demonstrate a broad understanding of client IT environmental issues and solutions and be a recognized expert within the IT industry.
7. Must demonstrate advanced abilities to team and mentor and possess demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills.

Education:
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline. A Master's Degree is preferred.

General Experience:
1. At least ten (10) years of experience in administering cloud based multi user environment with expertise in planning, designing, building, and implementing IT systems.
2. At least ten (10) years of product administration experience in RHEL Linux based environment or Windows server environment


Special Qualifications:

Big Data Admin (Two positions)
1. Must have a minimum of 10 years of related experience as a Hadoop administrator with an Expert level knowledge of Cloudera Hadoop components such as HDFS, Sentry, HBase, Impala, Hue, Spark, Hive, Kafka, YARN, ZooKeeper and Postgres supporting an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environment.
2. Prior Hadoop cluster deployment experience in adding and removing nodes, troubleshooting failed jobs, configure and tune the clusters, monitor critical parts of the cluster
3. Must have knowledge of best practices for Data Warehousing including business intelligence, predictive analytics and business continuity planning.
4. Must have experience with Data Marts, Online Analytical Processing (OLAP), Online Transaction Processing (OLTP), and predictive analysis
5. Hands-on experience with Cloudera, Working with data delivery teams to setup new Hadoop users. This includes setting up Linux users, setting up Kerberos principals and testing HDFS, Hive, Pig and MapReduce access for the new users.
6. Responsible for implementation and ongoing administration of Hadoop infrastructure
7. Competency in Windows Server and Red Hat Linux administration (security, configuration, tuning, troubleshooting and monitoring
8. Experience supporting a variety of databases

Qlik Admin (One position)
1. Administer QlikView/Qlik Sense/nPrinting/GeoAnalytics/ QAP platform
2. Responsible for deployment and publishing of Reports/applications
3. Implement and maintain security
4. Administration using QMC
5. Administer Server and scalability across each environment
6. Troubleshoot issues, both from a development as well as a performance standpoint
7. Migration/promotion/deployment/publishing of Reports/applications

Informatica Admin (One position)
1. Must have at least 5–8 years experience providing administration support and technical leadership for all aspects of the Power Center, Test Data Management, Data Quality, B2B, DVO, and Big Data Management Informatica domains.
2. Strong Experience in Hadoop, Hive, distributed computing and parallel processing.
3. Should possess the ability to set up repositories, users, security management
4. Monitor the stability of all environments including product performance and infrastructure utilization.
5. Provide incident and problem management support for business groups and operations.
6. Provide off-hour release and change implementation support. Maintain/manage the security aspects and create folders as per the requirement
7. Should have knowledge on Informatica Architecture and installation process.
8. Continued growth as a technical expert in data integration technologies and solutions.
9. Ensures data integrity; recommends action to maintain data integrity; establishes process / procedures for ongoing data cleanup.
10. Experience applying Hotfixes to Informatica servers

Informatica MDM Admin (One position)
1. 5 plus years of experience in installation, configurations and managing Informatica MDM Hub, Service Integration Framework on Informatica MDM platform
2. Thorough understanding of Informatica MDM concepts including, but not limited to: Match Rules Tuning, workflow, IDD etc.
3. Install, Administrator Upgrade and Manage Informatica MDM platform - master data management (previously known as Siperian) including application servers for cluster and high availability needs.
4. Participates in administrative activities related to MDM platform including but not limited to MDM hub, Process Server, Active VOS, Provisioning and IDD.
5. Extensive experience in installing and support on Linux and on Cloud platform.
6. Experience in configuration and supporting of high availability multi-node environments.
7. Extensive experience in upgrading, patching to keep the systems up-to date.
8. Experience in working with Database administrator to troubleshoot any problems
9. Experience in code deployment across the environments.
10. Experience in setting up the monitoring process for Informatica tools.
11. Experience in system recovery in the event of system failures.
12. Experience applying Hotfixes to Informatica servers
