Position: Principle Software Engineer
Location: Bellevue, WA
Job Type: Full time
Responsibilities:
As a member of the Research and Development team, you will be leading and developing cloud based analytics solutions/services/applications in support of the client’s IoT Platform.
Work on cutting edge technologies to convert device data into actionable insight
Participation in the architecture and design of the system
Improve and maintain new and existing functionality through the product lifecycle
Work effectively in scrum based team environment delivering core features
Requirements:
Work in a ‘startup-like’ environment with a tremendous amount of energy
Minimum 7 years’ experience of developing cloud based distributed applications.
Expert level programing in Java.
Strong communication skills and enjoys the power and fun of teams.
Passionate about understanding customer needs and architectural issues and designing innovative and robust solutions to these sometimes contradicting requirements.
Believe in Test Driven Development and the need for test Automation.
Proactive work ethic
Mentor the extended team and serve as a subject matter expert in terms of public cloud infrastructure
Skilled in robust, highly available large-scale, distributed SaaS systems (AWS highly desired)
Experience in manipulating and transforming large volumes of data (BigData)
Experienced with High transaction
Experience with integration and security technologies (SSO, SAML, etc)
