Role: Principal Full Stack Engineer
Location: Menlo Park CA

Essential Responsibilities:
· Work on architecture, design, and development of server-side layers of our platform.
· Architecting, implementing and deploying scalable, high-availability and high-performance server infrastructure.
· Contribute to overall culture of engineering excellence and best practices
· Participate and contribute to architecture, design and code reviews for producing quality code
· Provide technical guidance to engineers on the team
· Work independently and make critical decisions to drive business results
· Leverage domain and industry expertise to solve complex problems and execute on effective solutions
· Contribute to best practices for future engineering initiatives
· Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Related technical field
· A minimum of 7 years of experience with scalable database design and deployment
· A minimum of 6 years’ experience with software architecture, modular and object-oriented design of large applications.
· A minimum of 3 years’ experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure, and large-scale SaaS systems using Java
Desired Characteristics:

· Proven ability to effectively lead and manage teams
· Strong analytical skills – ability to understand the constraints of a problem and identify the tradeoffs.
